Dan Wolken himself! We all know he frequents this forum for all of his info that he gets. Without MTO Dan wouldn't have a story to write about nor a job. I'm pretty sure that what happened is that Dan registered here under an alias then buddied up to Andy (TripleA) to get the inside scoop. Then, used it against him by taking a PRIVATE email public on his personal radio show. Dan may not realise that by what he did could lead Andy to file a civil lawsuit for invasion of privacy. There are protected laws against stuff like that.
It's pretty obvious too that Dan Wolken is NOT a Tiger supporter and is out to bring down the U of M altogether. He apparently has some type of agenda or vandetta against the school for some unknown reason. Maybe he hates the fact that the U of M actually wins more football games a year than his beloved Commodores do. Or that a non BCS school dominates the basketball scene in the state over the SEC.
What should happen now, after Dan publicly attacking a Tiger fan and supporter and possibly even a donor, is the U of M should ban him from ever again stepping foot on a athletic field at the university as a reporter. Pastner can easily tell him he's no longer welcomed or allowed to take in open practices when other media attends. This would send a strong message to Dan and to all journalists not to cross a thin line when given a golden opportunity as he's been given in covering the Tigers. Take away his privilige and he has no story which then leads to the unemployment line.
