I have no idea if I'm on some insider "32" list, but I'd sure be honored to be there. No one makes me do, say, or believe anything. I choose what information to evaluate and what conclusions to draw. No one on this board has required anything of me, so I have no right to complain. Blame is for people who consider themselves victims; I don't.

Dan,
I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish by sharing private messages, but my best guess is higher ratings. I was a loyal listener (bought ootunes app just for that purpose), but I'm done. Don't like bullies. Never did.

Your self important attitude was tolerated for news, but you crossed a big line.

Sincerely,

Rick Burcham

I honestly don't think he cares.
His sponsors do.

No, they don't. Do you not realize how small this message board it in comparison to the amount of Tigers and sports fans out there that listen to the radio?
I only decide what is right for me, not how powerful the decision is.
Not me. This is to good not to listen.

Same here. I tuned in to see what all the fuss was about and i could barley make out what he was saying over all the static as i drove from East Memphis to Lakeland. Those guys need to put a bigger gerbil in the wheel.........
Dan is no friend of the Tigers. I said that from day one when he took the job at the CA.
It's one thing to say that you won't listen to it anymore. It's another thing to truly convince everyone you know to boycott it and express distaste with unethical reporting to his primary employer.

Anyone interested in starting a Dan Wolken media blackout/boycott?

I did even know he had a radio show ,until today might as well
been a blackout / boycott never heard the guy before read some
of his twitters and such , didn't know he was suppose to be a big
deal. I guess anyone with a michrophone and mouth is a professional
LOL!!!
Public perception of his professional work can be changed...
Who is his primary employer and how can they be contacted? If enough people complain it could very well cost him his job. The media industry is having a tough time anyway without having multiple complaints and possible loss of sponsors.
The Commercial Appeal and the E.W. Scripps Company.
