Dunno how I think about that. Would he get playing time there?
Part of me thinks he showed his class at Everton and in the WC, so he'd get playing time there similar to what he got at Everton.

The other part of me thinks he'll ride the pine, and we don't need that.

I'd prefer for him to go back to Everton, but I don't think they have the money MLS wants for him.
No to Citeh!
Apparently Man City won't be happy until they acquire every forward and midfielder in the world.
Man City is going to be a train wreck this year. Too many stars that have made their moves based on money rather than soccer reasons. They have the talent, but can Mancini put it together. He couldn't last year.
City fans keep telling me that it is a 5 year plan.

yea, in five years the shiek is going to be sick of throwing money at this thing and not winning so he's going to off load them to some schmuck who will run it into administration.
A good five year play would not involve spending on high priced players. Man City seems to be doing the opposite of what SoccerNomics suggests is the right way to do it.
City is getting punked by Sporting Lisbon 2-0 at the half, and it's not that close. The city players are loafing around like an over the hill pub team.
are they playing an A team?

Do you play with better athletes on a better league, or do you lay in the weeds and play in the US domestic league? If he does not play well in Manchestor City and does ride the pine, it would not be good for him. If he was a free agent, I know where I would be playing my soccer though. Soccer is a game of timing, that was what I was trying to say.

Live in LA or live in Manchester in the winter. Either way, you are making a comfortable living. Maybe at 28 the decision isn't as easy as one would think.
