Nice piece. I also like him pointing out that Coach Cubit hasn't had back to back losing seasons. I'm banking on that fact for my optimism.

That is something to hang our hat on for now.
I am still concerned about the constant turnover, lack of stability on the coaching staff. Reminiscent of Darnell's last few years, and those weren't good. Also seen how it has impacted other programs negatively.
Well now that Cubit has a few of his buddies coaching with him they may stick around a bit.
From what I have heard (through former coaches and some in the know) he is very hard on coaches and runs them off ....just what I have heard. Apparently we have lost one or two very talented coaches because of this. This also may be old news.
I like his hard nosed attitude but it may get him in trouble at times.
