I wonder if he'll talk about being one of the best teams in California like he did about winning the "Michigan MAC Title"

I know you are being sarcastic, however, it gave the team a realistic goal to shoot for and they achieved it. Let's not belittle the accomplishment, especially for a program so lacking in success.

Sarcastic yes, attempting to belittle the accomplishments no. I think it's great that they beat CMU and WMU. Those games were a blast to watch.
I'm more so making a statement about Genyk's overuse (in my opinion) of the slogan. When he was here you heard it so much that it got to a point where it was like, "Ooooh here we go again".
With Woody it was we're getting bigger and faster and over his five years we didn't get either.

According to a number of publications EMU is ranked the worst coaching job in Div I. I tend to agree.

It would be interesting to see where English has this program in 5 years.
Especially when you consider he has been more tools to work with than any previous EMU coach in terms of facilities ie no other coach had an indoor facility.

Agree 100%.

That is also the scary part - if he has the resources but doesn't produce.

There would be no excuses.

I'm hopeful.

I really believe in the MAC coaches win - get a good HC and assistants and programs can be turned around.
Wishing him good luck but glad he is gone.
