I don't know this guy personally, sort of glad I don't. At Stephens Arena, I sometimes see him walk in down in front of where I sit. He takes a seat at the table and appears to have something to do with audio and video. As he walks in, it seems to me that it is painful for him to walk, as though back and hip have been fused. And, this man wants to box?? Wally Hall reported his age as 60. And he wants to box?? What does this guy hope to prove?? Does he believe he is bionic? Does he think he is big celebrity or what? It seems very bizzare to me. Other than working at the table during ballgames, anyone know what his duties are as an Asst.AD? If this event draws a crowd, maybe he could schedule a bout at halftime, and actually contribute something to Trojan Athletics.

Ever heard of Gary Hogan Field. Gary is a great guy who will do any little task he's assigned to help the program. Why he wants to box a age 60? Anyone's guess . . . but I'm not going to judge him for it.
I personally think he's nuts doing something like this at his age. I wish his well though in his endeavor. I realize that Jose is getting paid for this. Is Gary? If he isn't, then he's for sure nuts.

Gary said on the radio that he is not getting paid a penny. Like Dollarbill said, I kind of wish he were doing this at half time of a UALR game. At least, the school would benefit financially if it happened to lose an assistant AD in the fight.
