I'm proud of myself because 7 years ago (June 30, 2003) I had my gastric-bypass surgery. I weighed almost 300 lbs. I weigh half that now. I went from a size 26 to a 6 but was too thin so I have gained some back...now I need to take off about 10 lbs. BUT I feel absolutely wonderful. I was so unhealthy and almost couldn't walk anymore because my knees were giving out. It's one of the best things I have ever done. For those of you that didn't know me then.

Yes, she is!

My cousin's wife had gastric bypass and she's totally transformed. I know several folks that have had it done and they are all success stories. Healthy and happy. Way to go missj!

Sorry for the repeat! Apparently Poppaslaw and I were thinking the same thing at the same time.

Not sure what his total weigh loss is now...I do know that several weeks ago he had a week where he lost 0 lbs and then the following week gained a few but I saw on his fb that last week he lost 6.2 lbs !
