We all know he was hired and he will do a good job. He helped build up the Pitt program and the Panthers were a mainstay in the big east and nationally. I am sure he will be a fan favorite in Westwood and get UCLA back on the NCAA tournament.
I hope he gets much better fan support than did Lavin.....geeesh! They were roasting that guy since he started basically.
Howland is a great coach, though, so I'm sure they'll be pleased.
Hes already got some big time recruits coming in!! He may get this team over the hump soon! Not good for my Devils who are on the brink of becoming a force in the conf over the next few seasons.
