3 schools did not sign their committs as of last week

-Colorado (accepted PAC-10 invite)
-Nebraska (accepted Big Ten invite)
-Missouri (so far looking stupid)

Texas may not pull the trigger on leaving the Big XII. With 10 teams the Big XII could rock on!

04-rock
In other words, a couple of weeks ago they wouldn't commit because they think they're Big10 bound, then when they realize they might be homeless because the 10 wanted NE, and they changed their tune pretty quick. Even I'll admit MO made more sense than NE from a geographic standpoint, but what's next is anyone's guess. I do hope the Texas schools stay, and they stay at 10.
Who will be the first to say that the Big 12 is now 'right sized'.

Ten works and if 10 does not work. TCU? And ?

This could turn the realignment earthquake into a tremor instead.

Utah to Pac-10.

A bunch of 12 team BCS conferences and ND still independent.

MWC picks up Boise and loses Utah.

Maybe Big East loses 2 to Big Ten????

Maybe??????
Missouri's commit letter was signed using invisible ink.

Interestingly, the extent of realignment now just may rest with.... ta, da!!! Texas A&M. Many Aggies, including those high up in the administration, have grown sick and tired of the perception their athletics follow the coattails of the Texas Longhorns. If they decide to join the SEC (which has many positives for A&M), then the stage is set for subsequent changes en masse.
How about a name trade. After all, the Big Ten now has 12 teams and the Big Twelve now has 10 teams. Just announce it in the daily transactions section of the papers, "Big 12 trades name to Big Ten, Big Ten trades name to Big Twelve".
Sorry KC, just read another thread and I see I was stealing your idea for the name trade.
MO may make it to the b10 yet, unfortunately the b10 sat them on the fence while they work out the ND situation ...... I especiallly don't see the b12 surviving.... too many weak remains unless they pick up someone big in FOOTBALL. The problem lies in Texas, which has dreams of being a league in itself! They will have difficulty attracting anyone capable of balancing conference budgets and competitiveness. (IMO)
