Yeah, it's easy to be a critic, but what exactly is this guy's brilliant plan that's being ignored by the MAC?

Meh. Moderately amusing at best. Writing this sort of thing very well is not easy.

Realistically, how many MAC teams have the budget to move up to, say, the Big 11 or Big East? How many would have to add sports -- men and womens' both -- in order to meet conference criteria. And that's not even getting into the academic standards of some conferences (although some in the MAC would obviously qualify already). Especially now, when so many schools are feeling serious budget constraints.
