I think he'd be a good addition to the team if he's allowed to transfer here. It certainly seems like he's interested.
His release will be interesting. There has been no talk of Jemison to UAB so a tampering charge is much more of a stretch. If UAT restricts him from UAB it will be totally for spite and add credibility that the Knox situation was because it was UAB. In the eyes of the bammers allowing a xfer to UAB would "redeem" UAT and prove the Knox situation was justified. Of course, Jemison, being a 4 year graduate, would be able to appeal to the NCAA where Knox could not. So UAT could put an end it all and save face by not denying Jemison to UAB.
It puts them back in the bright light.

Scurry, cockroach!
I think they'll let him come home, if so then he and Soko could be very good for us at the four.

Give that scholly to someone who WANTS to be at the Capstone coach and show them how it's done.
I think it would be cool if he was not restricted from UAB....that would be another lesson for them about Tampering....

I love how tampering has been declared a fact by citizens of Saban Nation. They also have plans of building submarines.
Mike Davis better leave those UAT players alone.

He finally figured out that he will never be able to coach at Alabama, so he figured that coaching players who played for Alabama is the next best thing. 03-lmfao
I think I just had a web-induced frontal lobotomy reading the replies...
There is no way they can let him come here. It would open the door for a lawsuit from Knox. My guess is they give him the exact same release as they did Knox to show "this is standard for all our players".

Then we should ensure that the policy is on paper and a two-way street between the campuses.
Yeah, there is no way he will end up at UAB. That would be a huge mess for UA, and UAB should make it a rule our guys cant play for UA if this ends up being the case.

A submarine is a sinking ship.... 04-cheers
They claimed they made the stipulation because they believed UAB tampered. There's no way they could do that again without claiming more tampering.
The whole transfer stipulation thing with Knox was a crock. Mentioning SEC schools and then all opponents came straight from the Department of Redundancy Department. It was all a cover to make it look like UAB wasn't the one and only target.

Now their quarterback of the future when he was recruited 2 years ago, Star Jackson, has transferred to Georgia State and will play against UAT this fall. Just more evidence the other stipulations on Knox were a total and complete crock.

The policy against transfer to SEC school and opponents is more significant than in football. Basically with Star Jackson they are saying they do not think they will lose to Georgia State even if Jackson is in the press box translating sideline play calling into the perfect defense to stop them. I hope Georgia State goes Appalachian St. on UAT this fall. However, the entire Knox situation was a complete crock. If no stipulations are put on Jemison then it will look bad and If they do put the stipulation against transfer to UAB then they will look bad. Either way UAT looks bad at the end of the day.
Do you all have anything else to talk about other than the Knox situation? And why are so many people yapping back at the UA fans on AL.com? Especially the person that talked about a game that happened so long ago that it is irrelevant now.

Lost in all of this is the game itself - or when it will be played. The game is scheduled for Sat, Nov 20. Saban and Co. want the game moved to that prior Thursday because the Auburn game is the following Sat. Ga. State was non-committal about/balking at the idea. And now Star Jackson is allowed to transfer to Ga State. Hmmm... Look for an announcement that the game has indeed be changed to Thursday Nov 18.
