Indeed. That's where the scholarship money is. A girl who can shoot in the low 80's can pay her way through school with golf. Guys who can shoot close to par struggle to find offers.

Title IX to balance football.
None of the other schools are that far off hell buffalo according to the list has more men sports then womens. By the looks most are 2 team difference instead of the 5 from BSU.
Wow, great job KSU! What does CMU have to do to win the men's title? CMU men's accomplishments this year were:
MAC football champs
MAC West basketball champs
MAC overall baseball champs
MAC wrestling champs
A banner year for the chips!

You can set up your athletic department however you want as long as the 16 sport minimum is adhered to.

Buffalo also has rowing which is not sponsored by the MAC. UB is in the Colonial Athletic Association for Rowing and won the conference title this past season.
UB's rowing team is probably the most successful team at Buffalo having won the Dad Vail Regatta in three straight years. The Dad Vail is the largest collegiate Regatta in the country and is comprised of all schools not invited to the NCAA Championships, which is rowing is only 16.

Actually, Ball State has 6 men's sports that are sponsored by the MAC--football, basketball, baseball, swimming and diving, tennis and golf--plus men's volleyball in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.

Nice accomplishment by KSU men's and women's teams. However, I wouldn't trade either trophy (or both) for CMU's championships this past year.

Off topic, but I am always glad to see your posts. Thank you again for your service and tell the other service people you work with that the fans of the MAC appreciate all you folks are doing for us so we can sit around Memorial Day and argue about the merits of D-1 sports.

Well if it makes you feel any better while your sitting around enjoying memorial day were stuck working yet another 12 hour shift... But its all good there isn't much to do here without going crazy.
