If Brady, or any Sun Belt coach, got an offer from an ACC or SEC school he'd be gone in a heartbeat. And, of course, the coach wouldn't have to sit out a year. He also wouldn't lose a year of salary (Reed might lose a year of scholarship aid). Sure, I'd be pissed if I were Brady. This may delay his pass out of Jonesboro, himself, for a year or 2.

The more I think about, we are being ridiculous critcizing this kid. I "used" my first job in Pine Bluff to get a job in Little Rock where I wanted to be. Just about everyone sees their first job out of college as a stepping stone to something else. I'm sure Reed didn't come to ASU with the idea of using it as a stepping stone- but better opportunities knocked and he is taking advantage of it. Just like most of us have done when that happened in our lives.

He moves on, ASU moves on. It's life. It's not like he set fire to the gym on the way out.

Exactly. Maybe one could argue he showed a lack of "loyality". But we all know Brady would be gone, regardless of loyality, if he got a better offer. And who are the kid's role models? Professional athletes who jump from team to team, to make more money and/or increase their chances of being on a winning team.
