Last paragraph is interesting:

Adding to the drama in Cleveland's final home game was the sight of Kentucky coach John Calipari, a friend of James, sitting in a courtside seat -- next to James' agent -- adjacent to Cleveland's bench.

I doubt the X goes now that he has gone on the record multiple times lately that he's not. He might have finally heard something or simply felt that all of the bad pub about behind the scenes deals wasn't good for the image he has of himself.

I think it is a horrible move by Cleveland management to hold the ex-coach Mike Brown in limbo for 9 days before firing him the day before he was to get $4.5 Million for the next year. I would have fire him maybe four or five days after the game, but not in the heat of the moment. I wonder who they will get as their next head coach for their team to try to keep LeBron in Cleveland.

don't be so sure. The Bulls have reached out to guage Phil Jackson's interest in their job. No direct contact mind you, but sources close to Jackson say he would be open to the idea.
If LA called X, no way he stays at UK.

If Phil Jackson would consider to return as a head coach of the Bulls, the next shoe to step must be LeBron to Chicago. Why else would he go back to the Bulls if not to coach King James?
here is my question...

even with the whole Cal is best friends and has sleepovers with Lebron storyline put aside...

how many NBA vacancies will there be, and if coach A who is already in the NBA jumps to team B, that will leave another NBA job open.

so if there ends up being say six NBA teams will new coaches, will Cal be in the discussion to fill one? Is he one of the top six guys in the country to consider in hiring as an NBA coach, even without Lebron?

you have Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, and toss in say the Nets and the Knicks, and just by sheer volume of teams looking to make a change his name gets tossed in?
