Anyone have any input on next seasons schedule? I know UDM plays at the Convo and that we have a pre season tournament in Idaho (can't remember the teams but they were all moid major at best - lets see Idaho, EMU, ?, ?

I don't believe Michigan or MSU will be on the schedule.

As far as I can say UofM will not be on our schedual any time in the forseeable future they burned that bridge when they refused to play us at home last year. We should be playing MSU soon I think it is a 3 for one deal.

Last season against MAC opponent Buffalo (if that counts), the year before that I believe EMU played at Brown and in the preseason NIT in Queens. Agreed that an East coast trip would be beneficial.

We're due to play at Temple pretty soon. i believe they have a contractual obligation to play a certain amount of MAC teams in basketball per season, since they're a football-only member of the MAC.

i could be wrong about this, but that's what i recall. Temple came to EMU 2 seasons ago.

Played at Manhattan in a return Bracket Buster game within recent memory.

yes! great memory. Remember their center Dubois? that guy was a maniac. completely out of control. i loved watching him.
Isn't St. Bonaventure an east coast team?
Our former associate AD is their AD their now.
Just for reference that tournament you were talking about in Idaho:
EMU, Idaho, Monmouth and North Dakota

Records last year:
Idaho: 15-16
Monmouth: 12-19
North Dakota: 8-23

In terms of East Coast games, I seem to remember EMU playing a few:

Last year remember they played in the Preseason NIT and ended up playing two games at St. John's in NYC(St. John's and Cornell), they also played Brown. Year prior, St. Bonaventure and Manhattan as mentioned.
Thanks for the info on the Idaho Tournament
