if that was the scenario that played out for UL/WVU/Memphis to replace Neb/Mizzou/Colorado.

Where does it rank in your hopeful scenarios?

Not a WVU fan, but ....

As a Cards fan, I'm not enthused about joining a Big XII that doesn't include Neb/Mizzou/Colo.

I'd even prefer a "watered down" Big East than joining a "watered down" Big XII. U of L has more in common with Big East schools and those who would come on board, than with Big XII schools.

.
Where it would rank among scenarios, in my mind:

1) Remain with BE football schools
2) Join SEC
3) Join ACC
4) Go Indy
5) Join Big12
6) Join UFL, CFL, Arena 2010
7) Join CUSA
I think it would be a horrible for WVU. However, in order to survive a team got to do what's best for the future. I would prefer UCONN to stay in the BE if it still exists, but UCONN will have to do the same if there are major changes. One thing is certain that changes are coming. We just don't know how big.

Well it probably ranks far below joining the SEC or ACC just because they other two conferences offer some regional matchups, but as its been said beggers can't be choosers. IF the B12 calls WVU will answer the phone. There's still better money to be made being associated with Texas Tech and Kansas then with a lot of BE schools

Jackson
I would think a merger between leftovers on both sides would be a positive outcome. It sure beats some scenarios that see some Big East teams left out in the cold or invites to certain schools (USM, UAB, etc.), IMO.

Not my 1st or 2nd choice. Staying in the BE or going to the ACC would be the best outcome. Joining the SEC next. Joining the B12 next above staying in the BE that just lost 3 long standing members like Pitt, SU, or Rutgers and expands with conference USA teams. Not sure that WVU has much in common with schools like Kansas, Texas Tech, Baylor, or Iowa State. But playing Texas and Oklahoma would be cool. Also I would hope that we would join the conference with UofL, and cinci.
