New Cook County Correctional Center, Chicago , Illinois
It shows that in most cases the quality of life for prisoners has improved considerably from what you might expect.
Oh yea, they can also choose from the menu!?
Let me see now ..
Who was the US Senator who helped arrange the funds to build this beautiful "punishment center"???
Oh yes, it was Obama!!!?

DAMN, did people make this much stuff up when Bush was President. 05-stirthepot
They are coming for you Steve.

I thought you were going to say it was the local SEIU or Acorn office.

The Cook County Correctional Facility....Isn't that where Jake and Elwood Blues ended up?

Nice looking building. Ain't no Supermax though.
The last couple photos pretty much gives it away that it's nowhere near flat Cook County, IL. That's some nice terrain.

Who build that resort 'prison' anyhow? Sandals?

Well, first thing that comes to mind was this.
Wow. What a surprise. He takes what came from an e-mail as fact. No wonder so many are so uninformed. They get their "news from e-mails.

I believe there's a direct connection.
That's fabrics.

Makes one want to move to Austria and commit some crime.
Reminds me of a building near where I live - drove by it - not nearly as big as the one in the original post, but looks like the Taj Mahal. Nope, an office building for a union.

Yeah, Rob, I got duped. I'm man enough to admit it. When will you be?

To be honest, there was a lot of hype about those pictures a few days before I got to see them, so when I did I was already in "they are real" mode. Unlike the left, when my mistake was pointed out, I made adjustments and moved forward instead of clinging to a losing argument or cause no one wants or cares about. Think Obamacare.

Couldn't possibly be in the USA. The prisoners would have sued because the basketball court wasn't regulation width, and it would have to have been rebuilt.

The reason is he, turd blossom, Cheney etc. have made their own version history post-election of Obama" and with Faux as "main stream" media, this faux history will end up in Texass history books(Christian right leaning) which will end up being used up all over the country and most Americans with short term memories will believe it because it is in a "history" book.
