Worst move the NFL has ever made moving it to Thurs night. There was no need to move it. And now it competes with the NBA and NHL playoff games. Hoping for terrible ratings.

Big news before the draft, is Big Ben gonna be traded? Rams said no, but I can see the Raiders offering the 8th pick for him. Al Davis will just pick a bust otherwise. It would make sense for the Bills to offer #9, unless they're really high on Clausen.

Bradford most likely the #1 pick. Although I just don't see him being a franchise QB. Suh and McCoy are definite franchise players who will improve a defense immediately.

Up to 4 OTs might be taken in the Top 10, Russel Okung, Trent Williams, Bruce Campbell and Bryan Bulaga (Crystal Lake native, Marian Central graduate).

One of the best draft classes in years, too bad the Bears don't have a pick till the 3rd round. Hopefully some good safeties or a guard falls to them.
This is a bad move. No reason to move it, it was great on Saturdays. That being said, I am going to bring another TV to the living room and watch the draft and the hawks. Should be a good evening.
Although I don't like the idea of moving it I do think it is a good idea for the NFL. How many people actually sit down and watch the entire draft on Saturday and Sunday. They will most likely get higher ratings throughout the entire draft by breaking up into more days. The people who did watch the entire thing when it was a two day event are not going to stop watching cause it is now on more days. Basically the NFL will only gain viewers by this move.
I'm just glad I'm not a Broncos fan. Trade a 2,3&4 to get Tebow, what the hell is McDaniels doing. They already have 2 mediocre QBs on the team and now they have 3. There could not have been another team that interested in Tebow, outside of Buffalo, that would've picked him over McCoy and Clausen.

DeMaryus Thomas over Dez Bryant.. understandable because of Bryant's character but still a bit shocking. Both Thomas and Bryant will be great WRs. For a team that is loaded with pick from trading away Cutler and Marshall, they did a horrible job selecting players.

Bills probably surprised me the most with Spiller pick, but they haven't had an explosive back since Thurman Thomas. They probably thought Tebow would easily fall to them. Smart move now would probably to take some lineman for Spiller to run behind and maybe get a Tony Pike or Lefevour later.
Didn't watch much. Bears don't have a pick till 3rd round. Thursday night not as good.

It is a sign of the increased popularity of the draft to move it to Thursday. People actually buy tickets to attend the draft live, and I do not have to wake up early Saturday to catch it on time.

As I am a fan of other sports, it is frustrating that it interferes with my Cubs, Red Sox, and fair-weather Blackhawks. Then again, at least the opening rounds will not interfere with the spring game, like in the past.

03-old I remember the old days, when ESPN did not even show the draft, you would just see a computerized bulletin board on your screen, showing the picks, team by team.
Am I correct in thinking that the LeFevour pick makes that only the second MAC player taken in this draft thus far (Taylor Price from Ohio being the other)? Talk about pathetic; the MAC should be ashamed of itself.

Not sure, but Starks, the RB from Buffalo, just got drafted.
Love the move to Thursday night and 3 days.

I hated the decision once I heard about it, but I actually did enjoy it even though my annual draft party couldn't happen anymore.
Reports saying Freddie Barnes signs with the Bears
Matt Mayberry LB Ind. and Hindsdale South is set to sign, also Northern Iowa safety Quentin Scott, Mich. RB Brandon Moore, and Ohio St. DE Lawrence Wilson. These are unoffcial but should be announced soon! Add Montana OT Levi Horn, Mich WR Greg Matthews, Nicholls St., WR Antonio Robinson, UTEP CB Cornelius Brown, and Nebraska DE Barry Turner.

Yeah, you're right; Starks was taken (by the Packers if I'm not mistaken). Still, three draftees from the MAC; not good.
