Wonder where they will end up after the draft? i honestly don't see either one being drafted, but they should sign free agent contracts either tonight or tomorrow night. I am hoping Squeeky hits the Heat. Riley will love his tenacity on D, much like he used Keith Askins for defense only. Squeeky could help against someone like Gilbert Arenas or Allen Iverson
Squeeky is too short to play in the NBA. I know Spud Webb is going to get mentioned, but Squeeky is not Spudd.
I love squeaky as much as the next guy, but he is not an nba player. Demario will get a chance toplay overseas and then see where he stands.
Squeeky isn't too short. For defense, he is fine. Look at Mugsy Bouges, Tyrone Lou, Nate Robinson, Avery Johnson when he played...if you have the defensive chops, you can play
I love Squeaky, but I have spoken with a few different NBA talent evaluators and they have all agreed that he is not NBA material.

One of them even said he wasnt that fast...for the NBA. He said it is unbelievable the difference in the pro and the college game.

I have spoken with Demarrio and he has already had offers to play overseas once his achilles "heals"
Squeaky needs to play maybe one or two years overseas, just so he can say he did, then get start making his plans to be a coach. He will be a great one.
I honestly think that Demario could've been a late 1st round or early 2nd round pick if he stayed healthy. He was a complete player.
neither one had a prayer.

Demario doesn't play hard enough or have the quickness or shooting skills to play in the NBA.

Squeaky doesn't have the speed or the body to do it for 82 games. Squeaky at his absolute very best, super high-energy level, might've had a slim chance. But that Squeaky only made it to about 8 of the Blazers' 30 games. He could not sustain that even for a whole game most of the time, much less 82. Not a knock on him, just a matter of fact.

Both will make some money in the pros overseas, and who knows, if they keep working hard, maybe they'll get a shot someday.

That's what they said about AI...
well after my pacers drafted shawne williams, they still have to address the outside shooting threat (since Peja has opted out) and the aging of their PG's. I wouldn't mind seeing Squeaky in a Pacers Uni, but I doubt it.
