This idea and "BlazerTalk" was discussed by Tony Curry on the "OD" this morning. Seems they are making a list for Alabama and Auburn. Tony is compiling a list for UAB. GO TONY! He's our UAB rep on the OD. He also said he attends BlazerTalk lunches and will continue to attend.
One question Tony had was who for UAB wore No. 1. I can't remember but I'm sure some of you might. Let's help Tony out with some Numbers and Names.

Oh yea. I remember him holding his own against Nebraska. The Husker center stated that Jeter was the best nose tackle he had ever faced.

This is what I was able to come up with by my own memory and stealing liberally from others.
A couple of observations:
1. My memory isn't what it used to be.
2. Given our short history, there may be more than a couple of numbers that nobody ever touched the field in.
3. The UAB Athletics site is pretty worthless.
4. Nolan Hughey was on the spring roster.
Keven Thomason #1 was a GREAT kicker when we were I-AA. Wish we had him now.......
