Looks like he coud finally be that other consistent receiver we've lacked the past few years that can take some of the pressure off Frantrell.
Roddell Carter impressed me today. With his height he will be a easy go to target for the qb.
Who?

That's not the number I have saved in for Mike. He is from Nashville, that's not even the right area code.

We've had some for atleast two years now. I thought Nick Adams would get third starting WR spot. With Adam's speed he could be used in a Harvin type way. Three senior WR's and one TE should help out any one of the QB who win that starting spot. Also what's the chance the JuCo QB can come in and win the spot?
Zero to none on the JUCO.
then, why did we sign him ?
To give you something else to complain about.
so, you advocate offering schollies to juco kids that [in your opinion] have no chance.

No I do not advocate signing any kid that had no chance.

I do however advocate signing a kid to play A DIFFERENT POSITION that he played in high school or junior college to help the football team.

Go find another gripe, it won't take you long.
If this season is a failure, then all this JUCO recruiting will be the main reason it is. I'll be glad to be rid of Callaway and his Jucos.

I think you must have missed the word "consistent" in my post. We've had guys step up here and there with a big catch or a big game, but no one who has been able to do it week in and week out.

Thank you captain obvious. I thought about this prior to my first post in this thread.
On the 'D' side, we needed help on the interior lines and at corner. At 5'10" 180#, my guess is he ain't helping on the line.
Many programs do this with lower classification high school QB's, since they're [usually] the best athlete on their HS team,
AND play this position on their HS team, as well. While we do need CB's (signed 2 juco and 1 HS this past Feb.),
bringing in a juco QB to convert will waste most of a year of eligibility, unless he has a redshirt avail. We need the help immediately.
We appear to have enough WR's (signed 4) and RB's (signed 3), though why we list any player RB in our offensive scheme is a mystery.

Well I think the QB's had something to do with that. I've Hunt and Webb throw a lot of ducks around. For some WR's tight spirals matter because it help them read the ball better for some that doesn't matter. Also we ran more than we threw so I would find it hard for some WR's to get in the groove of things. As for Hunt and Webb I know they did the best they could at times with their Oline. I believe a QB like Bento or Ellis could definately improve WR consistancy with better accuracy.
