Not sure the purpose of this one. Is Nike trying to help repair Tiger's image?

Some have called it creepy. Apparently, the voice of Tiger's late dad came from an interview he gave a few years back, when asked how he dealt w/him when Tiger screwed up. How will some people know that it was his dad's voice?

In any case, it is kind of strange. Won't sell products IMO. So ......why? Given that his other great talent besides golf was shilling products, I suspect Nike wants to get on with that.

Judging by all the non-stop coverage of Tiger this week, I'd say that most Tiger fans have moved on.
Yeah, that's so screwed up it's not even worth discussing. I'm a Taylor Made guy anyway, f-him.
Odd, very odd.
This just shows you Tiger (and Nike) haven't learned a god d*mned thing from this whole snafu. No morals, no shame, no humility. None whatsoever. Just "buy our motherf*cking sh*t!"
I wouldn't buy Nike Golf equipment if he personally autographed it, and that was before he was making nightly booty calls to his ho's. There are companies that have been making balls, drivers, and clubs before Nike even existed. Why buy from a company that's been producing for a handful of years, who produce golf clubs as an after thought. Their stuff doesn't sell that well. His name on stuff doesn't have the same impact as Jordan's name on stuff did/does (and they're both man whores).
I dunno. I think Nike was in a bind on this, in a way. Without Tiger, they basically don't have a golf division. The only reason newbies buy their stuff is because "Tiger's on it/uses it...etc..." Anyone who's broken 90 won't bother.

The rest of his endorsements can back off for a couple years and when everyone's forgotten about this, bring him back. Not Nike. So, they can either do something like this, which is weird and creepy, or they can just come out with another regular commercial, and then you'll get people complaining that they're just ignoring his flaws and mistakes.
