would set out some definite goals for our men's program in public. If they are content with the way things are going, at least tell us. Making public statements that it's imperative we reach the postseason and then making no public statements after the worst season in years, and the third losing season out of the last five, and still no postseason appearances, I think it's only fair to the long time supporters to let us know exactly where the program stands. A "State of the Program" pronouncement of some type.

Some would say that the AD making statements publicly might hurt recruiting or fan support. How much worse could things be? What hurts recruiting and fan support is losing 22 games. I don't know how many programs would continue the status quo after this past season. If there are reasons, I would hope the powers that be come out and let the paying fans know what's going on. Just be honest and let us know.
Unlike Jack Nicholson's character in "A Few Good Men", we can handle the truth.04-cheers

An announcement saying that our administration was satisfied with the direction of our men's program would definitely end my string of years of buying season tickets. I've been trying to decide whether I want to buy season tickets next year, or just buy individual game tickets for the girls games. I believe that it'll be about as cheap to buy season tickets as opposed to the individual game route. But, an announcement like that would definitely turn me off, and should turn off any fan who truly wants a good program to support.
