Anyone else play baseball in Parkway Village as a kid with or against Todd Day? He was an awesome baseball player growing up. I know it's not that Tiger related but thought I would run across a few folks from around here that did.
Nope. But I played in a softball tournament a few years ago against Richard Madison.
I coached a Y game that was officiated by Dwight Boyd.

2 guys I played softball with thru the years who could absolutely crush a ball- Willie White who played for the Denver Nuggets and former Tiger Chris Hobbs. Willie used to hit the ball way out into the street at American Way.
I play in a league every week officiated by Todd Eaton (Jack's son).

i played w/ todd on the dodgers and got picked up by the tigers to go to the world series. i remember a few funny stories from then.
i don't remember what year that was.
after that, i played w/ the tigers for several more years until i was old enough for american legion ball w/ coach holt.
I saw Jerry Lawler at Kroger.
I banged Lance Russel's girlfriend about 30 years ago.
I was a Memphis Traveler and fought many battles against Todd, the dodgers, and the Tigers back in the day...

He played a year behind me for the Parkway Village Dodgers. He was a very good bseball player.
Mongo invited me to his little casino on the third floor of the dowtown place.

I played baseball with Todd Eaton, won a championship as a matter of fact. Played basketball with Murray Bartow and Shane Russel also.

I saw Dave Brown at an ATM once and my girlfriend at the time turned around and screamed at the top of her lungs "You're Dave Brown" like he was Elvis or something. Weird.
Didn't come across Todd Day, but am still good friends with Keith and Chris Fogerty, to crazy a$$ brothers from the Village. Both played for Wooddale. Keith pitched at Shelby State. I think he could have made it at the UofM but we were fairly deep at the time(Steve Jones era) and he destroyed his rotator cuff in an accident between Shelby State and UofM. Not so sure how fond he and Kilpatrick were of each other either.
**Obscure Tiger connection...Fogerty neighbor and Wooddale outfielder at the time....Justin Wimmer (10th grade at the time I think).
