There is no question that Tulsa has improved its strength and speed and depth at all positions in the four classes put together by Todd Graham. IMO, the most significant improvement has been at DE, a weak spot that has plagued TU for years. Tulsa should go into the 2010 season three deep at DE, and these are DEs of quality. The Oklahoma State U Defensive Coach was quoted in the Daily Oklahoman that "when a defense tires, it tires first at DE."

DT goes 4/5 deep with quality. So TU is now strong and quick in the DL.

Todd Graham has called the 2010 class perhaps the best of his four recruiting classes. It is the JUCOs and Transfers that have lead Graham to make that remark. While the 2010 class emphasized defense, TU also substantially upgraded itself with tall WRs, OL, and explosive RBs.

Yes. I agree those are very impressive players and groups for us. Why we don't have the on-field defensive success, I haven't understood, but in this day and time, defenses may not have caught up with the O. Next year will be interesting.

I WOULD SURE LIKE TO SEE OUR DEFENSIVE ENDS WEIGHING IN AT 250 TO 260.....BUT OF COURSE WITH THE QUICKNESS OF THE 220 PLAYERS.
