With their size and talent and fan support, who in this year's tourney can beat Ky?
In the past 4 games on neutral courts they beat Tennessee by 29, East Tennessee by 29 and Wake Forest by 30. They had 20 thousand fans in the stands against UT and the Vols had a small section of maybe 500 and that was in Nashville TENNESSEE!
But there is the other game in that 4 when Mississippi State took them into overtime and really should have won. Is there a team still in the tourney like MSU that is big and quick that can match up against UK?
Bruce Pearl says the only way anyone has a chance is to pack in a zone defense and hope they are not hitting 3's and then slow it down and milk the clock on offense, but they got killed last week doing that.
We seem to have lots of coaches that post on here...how would you do it?
Well to be brutally honest, as long as the NCAA tourney officiating crews look like NBA crews, I'm not convinced anyone can defeat Kentucky. While I wasn't surprised with Bledsoe's performance against ETSU (I had seen a few Wildcat games this year) Kentucky's team is built around power basketball (NBA style) and not around finess.

That said, it will probably take someone who has a decent inside game that can challenge Kentucky. Teams who find that they must "cheat" inside to offset Kentucky seem to have a rather difficult time. It will take a team that doesn't have to adjust to what the Wildcats do, but can instead play their normal game against Kentucky. While I have watched very little of the tourney, that is probably a rare team. Do the dookies look like a likely candidate to challenge ky?

Just my thoughts.
