Counting the regular season and tournament championships, over the past 7 years( the Miller years) BG women's basketball has won 11 of 14 possible championships. Miami has two and Ball State 1. While there are 5 women's teams in the postseason this year (I think the previous best was 3 teams), BG will still be an overwelming favorite to win again next season led by Prochaska and a deep squad.
Nothing against BG, but why has Miller not been snatched up by a "bigger" program? You would have to believe that he would also be successful in the ACC, Big East, or Big 10. It's not like he is just a flash in the pan with a couple of good years under his belt.
He's had opportunities, just not the right one for him. He is quite comfortable at BG right now. It's not always about the money.

He can't leave for Knoxville or Storrs until there is an opening. Last I heard, Pat and Geno haven't talked about retiring.

He has had a few opportunities (and he has listened to some of them), but he is not interested in rebuilding a program. He's done that already. He wants to win.
A BG fan told me at the MAC tournament that Miller now has a clause in his contract that he will always be the highest paid BG coach.

I've heard that, too. I think he signed that contract right after BG hired Orr, and Miller's salary shot up to well-over $200,000.
