Lol Jacksonville with the upset. North Carolina and UConn should have both lost. Might be hard for those teams to get up for the NIT.

The announcers spent a fair amount of time discussing the Pac Ten, but hardly mentioned the ASun. How shocking.......

Jacksonville really played well overall, though they were VERY fortunate to pull out a win. I'm sure Smith's shot will be on Sportscenter's top plays tomorrow.

The fans there in Tempe after the ending were in total shock. Total. It was very reminiscent of our loss to Gardner-Webb in the tournament in the Dome - except maybe worse, even.........
But this was 'only' the NIT - that debacle cost us a dance....

Good win for JU. I honestly thought Jacksonville could win this game, they got a good team and played a tough OOC schedule this year. The Pac-10 is about as weak as they come in terms of the BCS conferences.

In related news Western Carolina lost their game in the CIT to Marshall. There's a team that started off hot and played somewhat poorly down the stretch.

Jacksonville did their part...now we have to do ours to hold up the honor of the mighty Atlantic Sun. Go Bucs. No one will ever forget. They will erect a statue in front of Slocumb Gallery of this mighty group of Bucs...so big will this upset be...that people will say Mister who? This statue will inspire future Buccaneers to a run of consecutive national championships and the fire marshal lifted the cap on attendance and they expanded the dome to 14K. All training runs for Buc athletes end at the statue....ETSU couldn't find a way to build a stairs to climb however. They did put in a motorcycle rent a shop though. Buc fans chipped in to have big LED screens hung around the dome so we could see close ups. It is great to be a Buccaneer. I can't wait for the victory celebration.

Unfortunately if this happens, the only statue that will come up will be of Mullins and Stanton.
