This is sort of just for fun, but I would love to hear you guys ideas about our potential starting 5 next year....Our team right now on paper looks SCARY GOOD, and the depth looks awesum. That creates the dilema of who should start?? now let's assume we sign Mayfield, and Singletary (maybe chris got a 960 on his SAT and somehow qualified lol) my starting five if I was CMD would be Andre White-PG Mo Gibbs-SG Wen Mukubu (I wont give up on him yet)-SF Lawrence Kinnard-PF Frank Holmes-C....with deleany, mayfield, dortch, crawford all making some noise off the bench....now lets hear you guys thoughts!!
in the old system delaney would have had the nod over gibbs, but in cmd's system i would not be surprised if gibbs starts. delaney just brings a hell of a lot more energy to the table night in night out. also, i dont think mukubu will start. dortch seems to handle the ball well and hit some big time shots so he could almost play the 2 and delaney play the 3.
If you have the luxury, you want Kinnard at the SF. PF would be Frank Holmes. And Mayfield at the center. White at PG. If we can find an excellent SG in the late signing period, he would have a just a good of chance of starting as anyone. This would leave you with a Paul and Mukubu off the bench for energy and defense. Nickson and Crawford for depth at the 4 and 5. Mo Gibbs as the backup as the point.
How does this sound?
