Thanks for the memories!

Great Career - Seriously! I hope you get a chance to play in the NBA!
hell of an effort
Thanks, DK for all the memories. For all the late game heroics, for the leadership, for being a great representative of WMU, the sportsmanship you show and mostly for choosing to come to WMU and be a Bronco.

You've left a big mark. Good luck in your future endeavors. Hell of an effort tonight and sorry it wasn't quite enough.
His level of play is only outdone by his character.

I'm very pleased he got this opportunity to shine in Cleveland. I tire of reading about Singletary this, Bassett that, Greene this, Hayes that.

DK plays both ends relentlessly.

He sticks his nose right into the scrum and askes for no slack.

For those who are critical of his drawing so many fouls you are rabid fans that do a great job of supporting your school of choice. But basketball you know not.

David doesnt need to be given fouls, he takes them. It is intentional, calculated, executed and rightly rewarded. And it cuts both ways. Legitimately he could have gone to the line another 50x in his career that were not called.

I would put DK at the top. This weekend cemented for me his elevation above Jeff Tyson. We'll never know where Jeff would have would up statistically if he played 4 years at WMU, nor how his rainbows that splashed into the pot o gold would have added an additional point as back in the day our objective was to get closer to the rim not let it fly.

If the NIT has brains and I know inanimate objects don't as some on this board don't either, getting DK into the post season should be a $ maker.

It will be a challenge for WMU if they get a home game to see if the ghosts of 10,000+ that used to fill Read can be shoe horned into UA. It would be a neat and special send off to DK and his fellow seniors.
You did great David,Thank You!-All-Time leading scorer in Western Michigan Basketball History!
If I ever see this guy at a bar, he doesn't pay for drinks.
forever will be remembered...to bad he didnt have another threat...if kool and reitz would have been seniors at the same time this year, it would have been our trophy to lose.
Watched live every home game he played at WMU, and a few on the road-he is the best and worth every dollar I paid. Good luck DK, good fortune will shine on you.
he is a great player and I only wish we could have gotten him to the NCAA tournament at least once. I hope he has success in the future wherever he ends up.
At my age I doubt I'll see a player of his caliber again at Western.

They'll always be special players, but he will remain in a league of his own.

Ended his high school career a legend, and ended his college career the same way.
Great player obviously, by all accounts outstanding young man. Wonderful representative of the University.

Unfortunately, like Newsome, team achievements did not match his.
