They obviously didn't see the game that I saw. Whie Kool was lowering his shoulder, CMU guys were giving him bear hugs all game. It was a physical game and that kind of stuff was allowed.
What pisses me off about MAC officiating is the lack of consistency. One half they will call it tight, the next half they will let everything go. It takes a while for players to adjust to the way a game is called and this type of officiating usually screws up the flow of a game.
Here's a thought. If they called it tight, DK goes off early because they're not tackling him whenever he tried to get free. They need to get over that.
