First Scott Lee Cohen and now potentially Alexi Gianulious. There is talk that he might be out to get a stronger competitor to run for Senate. Why waste time and energy voting only to decide you don't like the people's choice.

No, they don't think your vote means anything. I did not vote for either but Madigan and the Dems know better.

We know you didn't vote for either. They are Democrats you are a Rrepublican.
Many suffer short and long term memory losses when sorting out politics.

Same question may be asked for Geoge Ryan and Paul Powell.

Corruption in Illinois knows no party label boundaries nor passage of time barriers.

I remain highly skeptical that the system can ever be truly reformed only until the next batch of scoundrels figure out ways to play outside the spirit of the law and to avoid any resemblance to civic duty.

That is fine. I did not vote for either but if you did, basically, the leaders of the democratic party don't care what you think as long as you vote for their guy. If you don't mind having a say, it is fine with me.

I asked the same question about Illinois Republicans six years ago, when Jack Ryan won the primary, but Allan Keyes became the candidate.

It would have been nice, though, to see Allan Keyes debate the community organizer, but the Chosen One chickened out.

I agree with you I did not vote for Allan Keyes. He was a carpet bagger. But there is a difference, Ryan quit on his own. Cohen was forced out by the Democrats.
Last time I checked in wiki Ryan was forced out following sex scandal ....

He quit on his own. Cohen got intense pressure to quit. Big difference

Why waste time debating a carpetbagger who ended up with 25% of the vote03-lmfao

Alan Keyes is a national joke. the father of a lesbian daughter who railes against homosexuals as being sexual hedonists. Hello kettle this is pot!

03-lmfao I would have loved to have seen the psychotic Keyes debate Obama. I seriously doubt Obama chickened out because he would have made Keyes look as looney as he really is-VERY LOONEY!

Keyes is a great speaker like Obama. I had a huge problem with the Republicans going out of Illinois to find a candidate.
