The Blazers took 2 outta 3 against Eastern Illinois. We have won 6 out of our last 7 games, and play Alabama A&M at home today.
At 6-3, the Blazers trail only ECU (7-3) for the best record so far in C*USA.
Maybe we'll get to do an FN Baseball Bubble Watch this year.

The SOS hasn't been all that great... ECU, Rice, Tulane, etc would have swept EIU and Ball St. easily. I think the coaches are still feeling out the pitching rotation.
MTSU swept EIU last week. Outscored them by like 30 runs in three games. It was brutal.
We're up 9-1 on A&M right now, so at least we are taking care of business against them.
We have to play that west coast series which will be tough. That will boost our SOS.
Ball State and EIU were both picked to win their respective conferences, so they could turn out to be good rpi wins later.

I think your thinking of someone else. EIU hasn't played MTSU.
EIU is 1-9. Don't make too much out of whupping them.
Blazers win 12-1 today. The trip to San Diego will be a tough one. We play SDSU, San Diego, Cal St Fullerton, and one other team.
