tell me who is the 6, 7, and 8th seeds should Houston, USM, and SMU end up in a 3 way tie.

In the mini-conference, USM is 2-0, UH 1-2 and SMU 1-2. What tie breaker is used to break the tie between UH and SMU (they were 1-1 head to head, by the way)

IIRC the next tiebreaker is the record against a common opponent. No I don't know who their common opponents are and quite honestly too lazy to try to figure it out (it gives me a headache).
Shouldn't it be 6. USM, 7. UH, and 8. SMU? I don't have a very thorough understanding of tiebreaker system, but my reasoning is the UH was 1-1 vs. UTEP and SMU was 0-2.
FYI, should there not be a 3-way tie, I think this is how it shakes out:

Houston plays @ Tulane
USM plays @ ECU
SMU plays Marshall

USM owns the tiebreaker over Houston, so:
a) if they (USM) and Houston win and SMU loses on Saturday, Houston would play Memphis, USM would play UAB.
b) if SMU wins and USM and Houston both lose, USM would be in the Memphis bracket, UAB would get SMU

USM owns the tiebreaker over SMU, so :
a) if Houston wins and USM and SMU lose, USM would play Memphis, Houston would play UAB.
b) if USM and SMU win but Houston loses, SMU would play Memphis, USM would play UAB

Yes, I think that is right. I did not look back far enough to see that UTEP beat SMU twice. I thought SMU was 0-1 and UH was 1-1--which would not force a decision. So, yes, I think that the tiebreaker _should_ be the record against UTEP.

+3 to ticket.
So, it seems the tiebreakers are:

USM owns the tiebreaker over Houston, so:
a) if they (USM) and Houston win and SMU loses on Saturday, Houston would play Memphis, USM would play UAB.
b) if SMU wins and USM and Houston both lose, USM would be in the Memphis bracket, UAB would get SMU

USM owns the tiebreaker over SMU, so :
a) if Houston wins and USM and SMU lose, USM would play Memphis, Houston would play UAB.
b) if USM and SMU win but Houston loses, SMU would play Memphis, USM would play UAB

In a three-way tie:
UAB plays USM, and Memphis plays Houston.

Have fun, tomorrow. Good luck against UTEP.
Thanks for the points. I really hope personally that we (UAB) don't have to play USM, so I'm rooting for scenario b in the first category or a in the second category. But I hope I don't have to eat my own words.
