game.

One can go online and search for tickets. http://www.emutix.com.

The website looks like what a ticket seller uses showing individual seats as sold or available.

Looks like sections 106 (almost all gone), 107, and 108 are all gone.

Then there is what two sections across the way reserved for students.

With the game 24 hours away it looks like 5 of the 6 best lower bowl sections are gone with available seating in the corners or behind the end lines.

Hard to say without the students being out of school, but this is starting to look like the type of crowd which came out for the Cal game 4 1/2 years ago.

I'll guess that the crowd will be 3K+ and that could be low if ther is a good walk up crowd.

The Convo looks beautiful with the lower bowl full. :)
I got my regular place but have been toled that the CMU people will be sent down to that area. I have been standing in almost the same spot for 15 years I aint about to move. I have also been told that CMU has not requisted tickets as of the game last night but that could have changed today I am also going early for a special evnt for season ticket holders in the Eagles Nest. So I will be ther even earlier than normal.

Super, do you sit on the students side?

Are they going to put CMU folks in one of the sections on that side?

I assume our students won't use all of their seats because of spring break.

As I posted above, the seat map show NO available seats in 108 or 107 and maybe two dozen in 106 (that's behind the EMU bench). Some seats are gone in 105 which is the corner section near the EMU bench.

Amazing but 107 usually has been nearly empty for most games.

Guess tomorrow's game is big. 02-13-banana
I received a robo-call from Gragg yesterday hyping the importance of the CMU game to EMU and the future of the MBB program. I don't care for robo-calls but I didn't mind this one and I give Gragg credit for getting out there and soliciting support for the team.
Love the marketing push. A nice turnout could make the difference and would be really nice to see the team get some well-deserved support!
Even though I'm a long way from Detroit, I get e-mails from EMU, e-mails from posters saying they read or heard where some one in the media hyped the game, saw online ads in the Detroit Free Press, etc.

And EMU 'bought down' the price of the tickets so that they're dirt cheap.

EMU is also inviting high school teams to come as guests.

This is an incredible job of marketing (actually probably a money loser - i.e., they might be spending say 5 bucks to sell a 3 buck ticket).

But the goal of this game isn't to make 25K bucks but give this program a huge boost.
It's being promoted to the 1600+ Facebook "fans" too.

Wouln't be surprised to see the Det newspapers cover this one. Heck, maybe that joke of a publication in Ann Arbor will send a reporter.

Might be interesting watching Superfan make friendly with the CMU folks.
YOU ALL COME!

Me no make friends with CMU fans. They and the Detroit fans are some of the worst. Once when CMU came here for a baseball game I was told to take my flag to the EMU side of the field. I asked how much their tickets cost? I only stand over there now because it drier and I can talk to the team. The band and I will have fun. But I will not cause any trouble.

I'll be there in spirit ... or at least following the game on my computer from the newsroom way out here in Oklahoma!

Freep?

BTW, the EMU website should have a direct link to http://www.emutix.com.

One can get lost on the EMUEagles.com and not find the link for online purchase of tickets.
Some CMU fans are really jerks...

I'm going to be fascinated how and where the CMU fans are seated.

Will they have a 100 behind their bench and has the rest of section 108
been bought by EMU fans?

CMU fans might get shocked if they expect EMU to only have 750 fans.

The Convo might be roaring tonight.

Many CMU and WMU fans can't get through a single post without a cheap shot at EMU attendance. It takes no creativity and EMU is an easy target. Hopefully a few wins will start to change things. BTW ... I don't think EMU's hoops attendance is all that much worse than others and I am willing to bet EMU is probably more honest in its attendance reporting than most.
The Convo Crazies will be there tonight!!!!! We're trying to rally up as many people as possible for this game. It really sucks that its on Spring Break.
This will be a very, very fascinating crowd tonight.

I went to the website and it appears that about 85 - 90% of the lower bowl is gone.

E.g., 118, 121, and 122 are almost all gone. I guess 119 and 120 are student set asides.

The other side is almost gone as well.

Section 126 behind the basket is gone; 101 is mostly gone.

Down at the other end, 114 is gone; 113 is mostly gone; 112 in almost gone.

It looks like that most of the available lower bowl seats are in the corners.

This is looking like a honey of a crowd.

Dexter Eagle - can you elaborate on your comment from Gragg (the future of the MBB program) After the unexpected loss to CMU, I have the same question in mind.
