Granted, the last team I wanted to pull first round was Mercer...but then again I kind of like it. It seems as if we are the underdog going in to this game on Thursday. It could be a good thing, Belmont has always taken well to adversity. If we play in the tourney like I have seen us place in spots this year, it will be tough to beat us.
This has been a great year for Belmont Basketball considering how young we are and we still sit up top of the conference. I would rather overachieve then underachieve(such as last year). No matter how this season turns out I am proud of our boys and what they have done.As far as next year and the couple years thereafter, other ASUN schools better be bringing their A-Game because we are going to be scary good.
