The one slot is pretty much out of reach. UTEP would have to lose at home to Rice for us to have a shot at #1. So, 2, 3 or 4 is what we are most likely playing for.

Let's hope we can finish the season tied for 1st in the conference and assure ourselves of the 2 seed. We'll need some help, but it can happen.

The 1 seed isn't as important as somehow tying UTEP on top of the standings at 13-3.

I would argue that tying UTEP at the top seed would be less important than beating a ranked UTEP at El Paso. Losing to Rice would make a resume win much worse. I think that would make CUSA a 1 bid league.

Perfect scenario:
UAB wins out to finish 13-3.
Marshall wins out to finish 12-4, which would put them at ~52 in the RPI.
UTEP loses to Marshall and UAB to finish 13-3, which would put them at ~55 in the RPI.
Memphis loses to UAB and finishes 12-4, putting them at ~61 in the RPI.
Tourney seeds:
1) UTEP
2) UAB
3) Memphis
4) Marshall
There's a high probability IMO that either UTEP or Marshall could finish Top 50--which could enhance our resume.

1. If we lose both games, we would be the 4th seed.
2. If we beat Memphis and lose to UTEP, we will most likely be the 4th seed because our 0-2 record against UTEP is going to be worst than anything Memphis or Marshall has.
3. If we lose to Memphis and beat UTEP, we will likely be the 3rd seed, but could be the 4th seed depending on what Memphis does in their other games.

True, but if we lost to UTEP and so did Marshall, we would do no worse than #3 if we beat Mempiss like Robert Dozier's ho.
