I thought I read in another thread that Meco's mysterious absence was related to his girlfriend giving birth to his child in Florida, and that he planned to be back next year.
adam coleman as a TE.. HMMM interesting experiment
I saw harnish in barsema today and he seemed to be limping still pretty noticeably.
So since Me'co is on there, I'm sure Red and Black will do the responsible thing and print a correction on his blog. I mean that blog is a credible source of information, right?

Just to complete the list Jake Coffman, James Jefferies and Nick Kamenjarin are gone. Jasmin Hopkins, Demetrius Stone and Akeem Daniels have arrived.

New names:
Rodderick Bell, DT
Alex Faust, K
Daniel Green, DE

It's great to see Mike Krause's name on the list. I hope he can play this fall. He was starting before he had to leave last year.
This is exciting. All the players that gave me bad memories of the 2007 season are finally off the team. Add John Kremer to the list. Really cool to see the updated classes for all the players.

I'm so happy that Krause is back.

A few comments:

Only 6 guys remain from the 2006 recruiting class: Ricky Crider, Connor Flahive, Ed Jackson, Mike Krause, Alex Kube and Mike Sobol. J.O. and Tranch used up their eligibility and everyone else is gone. Amazing.

You have to feel for Kevin Sabock. He grew up dreaming of playing for the Huskies and was just always hurt. Good luck to Kevin in his future endeavors.

Of the guys who chose not to return the only big loss is Jake Coffman. The others played little if at all and those are the guys you want to leave so you can turn the roster over quicker. Not to disparage those guys, we appreciate their service and wish them the best.

I can't find any information at all about the new guys Rodderick Bell, Alex Faust and Daniel Green. I guess we'll learn about them in spring practice.

Obviously thrilled that Mike Krause seems to be coming back. And pleased that Ricky Crider is back too. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Crider pack it in since he's pretty much exclusively a kickoff returner these days due to the glut at tailback.

Speaking of tailback it looks like rumors of Meco Brown's demise were greatly exaggerated as the saying goes. I'm glad Meco's back. He has a chance to be a great player for us and you can never have too much quality depth at that position.

Looking forward to Adam Coleman at tight end, he's a wild man out there. I wouldn't expect a lot of balls thrown his way. Does this mean John Hopkins is back on the d-line?

Your sources now have as little credibilty as mine. Congrats.
Oh yay, Me'Co's back again!

What a joke of a situation this has turned out to be.
me'coooooooooooooooooooooooo
Coleman is a BIG surprise. He appeared to be effective @ DL. Are we that deep on the Dline? I don't think so. Will Kyle Jenkins be recovered and able to go this spring? Status? He is still listed as a JR so he probably received the medical redshirt for the knee.

We did lose an OL (Tense) who is not returning, he did start some games for us last year and gave us some minutes, we could have used him this year as we are thin in the OLine. Roster does look thin at TE.

.....and the "real" story on Meco can't be posted......What a crock of cr@p that was....

Why would they post a correction? Do you see ESPN's rumor mill posting corrections? Or all the "sources" who said the Raiders were set to fire Tom Cable? IMO, they didn't write it as fact, therefore, they have nothing to correct.

Agreed, they reported a rumor, rumor turned out to be wrong, move on...who cares.
