Im trying to decide b/w the Clemson & Army game. Anyone been to either venue to watch a game ? Any info would be helpful. Thanks
Been to Clemson twice, including last year. Fans were great and helluva atmosphere. It has every bit of the pomp and circumstance of an SEC game.
Plus, very close to the North Carolina mountains and many state parks. Not sure what interests you have, however.
Clemson itself is a very small town (15k?) that sits alongside a big lake. They hate them some Gamecocks.
No food recs for Clempson. Sorry FanOf49

Wow, MT and UNT are the only ones with 6 home games this season.
And ULM. . . :( You're supposed to have 11 home games over 2 years. Doesn't look like ULM will be able to meet that "standard".

The Esso Club
Spent pre-game here in Clemson this season. One of the best gameday experiences in a bar/restaurant that I've ever seen. Went with my roommates parents who are Clemson grads and we didn't bring any tailgate stuff, we just got here early, enjoyed good food and other games inside and a live band outside.
Everyone agree ULM has the toughest?
FAU will only have 4 home games "Truly" at home.
Our 5th home game wll be in Detroit at Ford field.
That truly sucks.

This is one of those years that ULM gets to count the Arkansas game as a home game I believe

9/11 - @ Arkansas (Little Rock)
10/2 - @ Auburn
11/13 - @ LSU
Other non-conference game will be a home game against Southeastern Louisiana (1AA)
Tulsa is not on ULM's schedule this year -

The ULM/Tulsa series makes a lot of sense with the close geography. I speculate the change was a mutual decision. It gives ULM a home game and it gave Tulsa a chance to schedule @Notre Dame.

We'll have six in 2011 as well. Any other Sun Belt school have three straight years of six home games?
2012 is when Troy gets 6 or more home games... unless Troy manages to get find a 6th home game for 2011.
The 2012 season has Troy playing Mississippi State and Navy at home.

The UAB game this year is at least a 1/2 home game.

Yeah and I don't see why the Sound wouldn't go it's just a few hours away.

The Army location is spectacular. Stadium sitting on the Hudson. Get there early and watch the Sat morning parade. Special place to go.

ULM owes Tulsa a return game since they came to Monroe a couple of years ago

Nobody knows what year it would be played IF we play a return game to Tulsa.

This is the third game of a 5-game contract with Arkansas...all in Little Rock...every other year over 10 years where they will count as our "home" game. Technically we'll have seven home games in 2010, with six of them actually in Monroe.
