For those who haven't seen it, here is an article written by Jeff Arnold, AnnArbor.com writer.

I don't know if genetics plays the same role in human performance like it does in horse racing, but this kid has Juwan Howard as his father and a runner-up for Miss Basketball in Michigan as his mother.

I assume he's having a good senior year but I don't have a read on 'how good'.

Is he say top 10 senior in MI?
Horses ain't like people, man, they can't make themselves better than they're born. See, with a horse, it's all in the gene. It's the f**king gene that does the running. The horse has got absolutely nothing to do with it.

(name the movie-my all-time favorite)
Is the movie Sex in the City?

I knew you'd go for the chickflick thing and you usually have them down cold but , no, this was more of a guy kinda film. 03-wink

Close enough! (The Pope of Greeenwich Village) Last good thing Eric Roberts ever did. I was convinced that Mickey Rourke was going to be the next Bogart or something after that movie. And with apologies to EMU STeve for hijacking his thread I'll try to tie this back in to the original by saying that I NEVER believed that Mickey Rourke was a better basketball player than Howard.
=>Jimmy "The Greek" once talked about genetics and sports.....once.

I miss MANY references, Flip. And since that one was no more obscure than the TPOGV one I'm really not surprised I missed it. But I always wondered about people that thought she was hot- I like horses too much to compare them to SJP.

This is TESTING my memory.

Didn't Toledo's Casey Shaw marry a UT's women's basketball star?

If they have any children, they probably should be receiving recruiting letters when they turn 12. 03-lmfao

Dana Drew. That's a bunch of basketball in those genes.

6'10" point guard who plays like a coach's kid (Dana is Homer Drew's daughter). And their SON could be even taller.
