Clark dropped 31 on UNF today. He was insane from 3. Haven't seen the final stats yet, but it was either 9 or 10 threes. UNF played a lot of zone and the we kept running the same play and they kept leaving him open and he kept burrying them. BTW, Clark is not all about offense, he is a very good defender as well.

On another note, Byrd's demeanor has changed as the season has rolled on. It makes sense, but he was much more "the teacher" in the early part of the season. Now, if you forget your assignment, or make a dumb play, you'll hear about it. He is much more intense and it is coming out in the players.

Belmont and lip play the bottom half of the league the rest of the way. If we both win out, they win due to head to head. I think there's a solid chance we both win out. Jax, ETSU and Campbell still all play each other once. If three teams win out who knows?

Hard to believe there are 5 teams tied for first with 5-6 games left. This has turned into a really interesting league this year.

Mercer is going to have something to say about this finish. They play almost everyone tied for the top, but they are wildly inconsistent.

I like the depth that we bring. Hopefully that will help in the tournament, especially if we can secure a bye.
No bye this year. Nine teams are eligible for the tournament. Stetson looks set to miss out. Hard to believe it, but after all those years of suck, UNF could actually make the A-Sun tournament in their first year of eligibility. Never thought I would see the day.

Thanks. That is actually better if we think we have a depth advantage. I think that we do.
Ian received his first player of the week award this week. The article has some very interesting statistics and facts.

Agreed our depth will help. Actually the Asun web site says there are 8 teams eligible this year, so if you finish 1st, 2nd, 7th or 8th, you play on Wed, and then have Thurs off so there is some limited benefit to finishing in the top two. Although, it didn't help jax much last year. They were pummeled on Sat.
Should have read, 8 teams qualify, but 9 are eligible.
