believe the 12th seed maybe the best spot for us. The twelth seed is often the best spot for a midmajor in the NCAA tournament. You play the 5th seed and the very likely the 4th seed. The 5th seed could very likely be Denver or ULL, teams we already beat. Then we play a 4 seed, who has also played a game. We finish 11th, 10th, or 9th we'd have to play a 3, 2, or 1 seed that hasn't played a game in our second game.
The 2 teams we could pass are ULM and FIU. But ULM just beat WKU, so they are 2 full games ahead of us. FIU is only one game ahead of us, but really 2 since they have the tie-breaker. If we finish strong, we could move up to 11 or 10, but I'm not sure that would be to our advantage in the long run.
