Fathers of sons if you haven't read "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. Give it a read. It's a very different writing style in post apocalyptic US. A father and his son make their way through what is left.
It's fairly short but very moving.
Did you see the film adaptation when it was in theatres? I really liked the book, but never got around to seeing the movie.

It's come and gone.
I did not see the film. The book was one of the best I've read and I'm always disappointed when I see a screen version of a good book. Perfect example, "The World According to Garp" is a great book and a subpar movie, IMO.

It played at the Ridgeway 4 for a few weeks.
It never even made it to my part of the sticks... guess I'll have to catch it on DVD
Great book and the movie came out just in time for Christmas.lol
