They confess they had no idea the city and school were as impressive as they are and that is almost without exception.

We win, he buys himself some goodwill and maybe another year. He gets edged out, who knows? We get owned on our home floor and to the extent Steve's poor decisions are obvious to Ray Charles, he may be gone the next day. Doubt the latter would happen, but you never know.
Another peice of this is Trey backing out as the plane was being loaded, hurt. We probably had to move to plan D because b and c had found places to go. I don't remember who we gave the scholarship to. In a way it should have helped us, because we should have taken that scholarship and recruited another juco big.

I don't remember who told me, but it supposedly had nothing to do with the campus, etc. According to the source, Trey was surrounded by some kids of whom his father didn't approve and thought were bad influences, and wanted him to get away from home. If that's the case, you can't really blame the kid. And I'm sure we've gotten some kids that had told other programs they were coming there. It's only magnified because he signed with our biggest rival. I don't wish him any ill will. I hope our fans don't boo him. That would be fairly classless, IMO.

I'd love to see him booed and harrassed everytime he touches the ball. But, you don't have to worry. That won't happen here. Our fans are simply too "nice".

What would it be like at Cameron Indoor if UNC came in starting a guard that had "flipped" from Duke to UNC, 2 and a half weeks before signing day?
How about the same scenario with Indiana and Purdue, Kansas/Kansas State, or Kentucky/Louisville? The player would likely need a police escort on and off the court. I hope a handful of folks will join me in booing the "flipping Finn", but I doubt it will be more than that.
It may be the "Greatest Rivalry in the Belt", but unfortunately its not saying much.

This is what he said an the Sun today, "I really wanted to get the college experience and UALR wasn't that. I should have thought about that before I committed to them, but I was just thinking about it from a Basketball point when I did. I wanted to get that college life experience, and Arkansas State had that"
My take is if he had made his decision based on which Basketball team he wanted to play for, he would be at UALR not here. It was all about the school itself, and the school is a big reason we got Brady.
You have to visit ASU to really understand what he is talking about.

No they won't boo him Mickey. The reason that they won't, is our fans generally don't care. The hardcore fans that are left, will come out regardless. If they cared, I wouldn't be the only one calling for a coaching change. They obviously like mediocrity, and it doesn't matter how bleak things are, they come and "literally keep their mouths shut. They aren't going to boo the kid. He without a doubt made the right move, he went to a program that is on the upswing. I know he changed while Nutt was the coach, but he lucked out, and got a real coach in the end.
