Everyone who was on the internet knew that he was gone (it was reported on several websites) before he made those calls.
still, that's more than coach fran, who literally left without saying goodbye.
Its probably harder to call about 100 people on a football team. Was he supposed to have a team meeting or something?
In fairness to MA, my suspicion is that when he sat down and talked to the Mizzou AD he was given an offer/the price his agent set was met and he was then told to make a decision fast. Alden was seriously in the hot seat, still is for that matter. Could have been MA decided to jump fast, but the situation reads to me like UM was pressing for a quick commitment.
