Full Version: What happens when Lionel returns?

We've won some games with him out of the lineup, and if we continue to win some games, do we go back to him starting when he returns? That will be an interesting situation. I haven't heard any timetable for him, but I would think he might fit in better in strictly defensive situations when he returns.04-cheers

Nothing at all wrong with having a good backup PG.

Lionel will get his minutes. He may be our best defensive guard, although that probably is not saying a whole lot. He is still our best ball handler. When Bozeman needs a blow its a struggle for us to simply get the ball across half court. I certainly don't advocate moving Solo out of the point position, as well as he is playing now. But Lionel will provide us with a much needed 8-10 minutes a game once he is in game shape.

Now you guys are making some sense. 8-10 minutes as a backup is about right. Not 20-30 minutes. Too many other players who can score and rebound, and also play at least adequate defense are available now. Glad to see Nick getting some first half action. That has to restore some of his confidence he's lost, and could pay off at tournament time.04-cheers
