The latest models tonight are project 7 inches of snow in Memphis with some ice mixed in. The city is going to take a beating.
This will be on par with the Jan 88 snow storm.
we'll see. Hope so, just don't expect it.
I don't beleive it for a minute. Hope I am wrong....
That January 88 snow occurred the night I was born.
That was a ***** pushing my Honda Elite 80 scooter back home from Kirby High that day.

I have yet to see a report that predictes what you posted.

New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Dang! That's going to make my Rufus Thomas activity kinda rough.
Real snow? Not since 1988. Some people need to quit aggrandizing weather reports.

I just watched two of Nashville's TV weather video news reports and both models they showed indicates little or no snow will fall in Memphis. Just freezing rain and sleet at worst. Most of the snow is staying north of Shelby County and tracking westward across Tennessee until the system hits the Chattanooga and Cookeville areas.

Nashville MAY get up to 4", but we're on the fringe of that section. My bet is on 1" to 2" here.
