ETSU really took it to us tonight. I thought you did a good job breaking the press and played good defense for most of the game. We missed way too many layups and short shots and free throws. Great threes at the end of the game to put us away. Was impressed with what I saw from ETSU.

I have watched all of Campbell's A-Sun games either in person or on A-Sun TV. By far you played us as good as anybody the first half of the year. (Even Virginia Tech) We had a better chance of winning that game than we did tonight. If you continue to play like you did tonight you have a really good chance of winning the conference.

How did you lose to Stetson?
Camelfan :

Good question. Welcome to our world.

The former Furman player, now coach, has a thing for us. But still....
Thanks Camel Fan. We have absolutely no idea how that Stetson game was lost. Just horrible play down the stretch. Tonight the Bucs showed once again that they are capable of playing well against a good team.
We lost to Stetson because we played half of the first half and all of the second half the same way we played for about half of the second half tonight.......

Because unlike Belmont, ETSU plays terrible when they are forced to be disciplined and think. If I were a coach playing against ETSU I would play nothing but zone, and as everyone on this board knows I HATE ZONE.

I have no idea why more teams in this conference don't take Stetson's approach. Turn the game into a war of attrition and wait for ETSU to get frustrated and make mistakes, take stupid shots, etc.
We ran all over Stetson. I don't see what is so tough about them. I am much more worried about playing Belmont, Lipscomb, ETSU, Jacksonville and Mercer than Stetson. We have better players than they do.

They are a bunch of foulers in my opinion. I don't like their style of play either. Or North Florida.
Styles make fights: We have never matched up well against Stetson.
