Turned on the computer to listen to the game and linked on to http://www.wkos.com and saw . . . .

A line that said "Now playing, UT basketball, 8-10 p.m."

I went to http://www.etsubucs.com to listen to the game, but my question is obviously if WKOS carried the Vols instead of the Bucs last night.
No, if you clicked on "listen now", it was the ETSU game instead. You are correct though, the wording did say UT game.
So someone at WKOS doesn't know the difference between UT and ETSU.

I believe it.
I have actually listened to Jay's broadcasts of the Buc's game and, during the broadcast, had to listened to ads touting WKOS and ut basketball! During the broadcast. I know to a lot of people it is not a big deal but I think they should at least keep the ut stuff off while the ETSU broadcast in on the air. Just my 2 cents.
WKOS is the messenger; you don't need to kill them. The message that ETSU can't compete with UT is coming directly from Stanton/Mullins. You don't have to kill them, but getting them as far away from ETSU athletics as fast as possible is something that should have been done a long time ago.
You know Island, this reminds me of something.

When Mullins was first doing his "interviews" on WXSM, he once tried to do some small talk with the hosts that he was fiddling on his radio that weekend listening to the Vols football game.

I immediately had two thoughts-

A- How many college fan bases would let their AD get away with talking about listening to a rival school's radio broadcast as a fan?

B- How many college fan bases would let their AD get away with dropping their football team and then talk about listening to the region's larger school's football team?
