Humana, Blue Cross, etc., were to be put out of business with the Democrat's plan.

**** Democrats.
If they tank, it's because they stood to make all time records with the unholy government marriage to their industry. Just remember .... the health care industry was Coakley's biggest supporter.
Health care stocks were red herrings. Big evil corporations to be defeated.

Why in the hell would they surge? They are losing out on millions of new customers the plan would have given them. If I was a betting man, I would say the stocks will drop. Probably not sharply(hey, nothing has changed-they can still screw the American citizen while enriching the CEO's and post more record profits) but a little because it probably was higher than it should be based on speculation the healthcare bill would pass.

they surged today on news of a likely republican win, i see no reason why the shouldn't surge tomorrow.

03-lmfao The senate bill would have GIVEN those companies millions MORE customers. The public option wouldn't have put them out of business but profits would drop slightly(though not much because the way it was written, very few could even use it). If you are talking about single payer, it might but it would depend on how it is actually set up.

This.

They were rising on the speculation Brown would win. They aren't going to tank because he actually did.
